Steel, The World's Most Recycled Material
Steel is the most recycled material on the planet, more than all other materials combined. Steel retains an extremely high overall recycling rate, which in 2014, stood at 86 percent. The amazing metallurgical properties of steel allow it to be recycled continually with no degradation in performance, and from one product to another.

Shipping Waste
Containers and packaging account for 30% of all U.S. municipal solid waste, according to a 2009 EPA study. Small wonder, considering the contribution of millions of tons of disposable corrugated and wood filler used to protect products in transit across America every day.

KICK STOPS & Mini Mill Production
In the United States, there are two methods of steel production; Integrated and Mini Mill. The KICK STOPS devices are made with the Mini Mill process which uses 100% scrap. At a minimum, every KICK STOPS device contains at least 70% scrap.
As we strive to reduce the dunnage waste across America, we will continue to increase our scrap production in efforts to balance our quality of life.
